Merge JPG

Combine JPG files into one image. Drop your photos, set the order and layout, then download one JPG. Your photos are merged in your browser and never uploaded.

How to merge JPG files

01

Add your photos

Drop JPG files on the box, or tap it to pick them from your phone or computer. PNG and WebP work too.

02

Set the order and layout

Drag a photo, or use its arrows, to move it. Then stack them top to bottom, side by side, or in a grid.

03

Download one JPG

Check the final size in pixels and MB above the preview, then save the merged image.

What you see before you download

Your photos stay on your device

The JPG merger runs in your browser. Receipts, ID scans and private chats are never sent to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

The final size, up front

Pixels and file size update while you change the layout, so you know the image fits a form's upload limit before you save it.

Different sizes line up

Photos of different sizes are scaled to the same width or height, so nothing is stretched and the edges stay straight.

Vertical, horizontal or grid: which layout to pick

Vertical stacks photos top to bottom. Use it to combine JPG files into one long image: chat screenshots in order, the pages of a receipt, or a recipe that spans several photos. It is also what most forms mean when they ask for "one image".

Horizontal puts photos side by side, scaled to the same height. Two photos next to each other make a before and after, and three in a row make a wide strip for a banner.

Grid arranges photos in rows and columns, like a contact sheet. It suits product shots from several angles, or a set of photos you want to send as a single picture.

Tips for a clean merged image

Keep sizes matched unless you have a reason not to. "Match widths" shrinks larger photos to the narrowest one, so the merged image has no ragged edges. "Keep original sizes" leaves each photo as it is and fills the space around smaller ones with the background color.

Add a gap when the photos look alike and need a visible break, such as screenshots with the same white background. A white or grey background with a small gap reads as separate pictures; no gap reads as one continuous image.

Choose "Smaller file" when a website limits uploads to a few megabytes. The size shown next to the preview is the real size of the file you will download, not a guess.

Very large results are shrunk to fit what browsers can save. Phones, iPhones especially, cannot create an image beyond roughly 16 million pixels, so when you merge many full-size photos the tool scales the whole image down and tells you by how much.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Merging happens inside your browser on your own device. The photos are not sent to our server or to anyone else, which is why the tool keeps working even if you go offline after the page has loaded.

Will merging lower the quality?

Each photo is saved once more into the new JPG. With "High" quality the difference is hard to see. "Smaller file" compresses harder to get under upload limits, and photos are only shrunk when you pick "Match widths" or the result is too big for the browser.

Can I merge JPG files on my phone?

Yes. Open the page in your phone's browser, tap the box to pick photos from your gallery, and download the merged image. On iPhone it goes to Files or Downloads; you can then save it to Photos from there.

How many photos can I combine?

There is no fixed number. The limit is the size of the final image: when it would be larger than your browser can create, the tool scales it down and shows the new size.

Can I merge PNG files too?

Yes, PNG and WebP photos can be added and mixed with JPGs. The result is always a JPG, so transparent areas take the background color you pick.

How do I combine JPG files into one PDF instead?

Use Merge JPG to PDF. It puts each photo on its own page, or several on one page, and lets you choose A4 or Letter and the file size.

Is Merge JPG free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark on the merged image. The site is paid for by the ads on the page.
